“Asking for a Friend of Dorothy” is an anonymous queer, sapphic advice column.
This space is intended for queer individuals under the sapphic umbrella. Dorothy’s vision is to foster a safe and compassionate atmosphere for the community that they hold dear.
Queer people deserve safe spaces. Dorothy wants to cultivate a space where they can go feel related to and understood. Sharing your truth, your story, as well as holding space for those stories is a powerful thing. Whether it be about queer dating, friendship, sex, gender, relationships, family dynamics, Dorothy encourages you to write about your individual, sapphic experience.
Dorothy asks that if you are here to be witness, please practice kindness and compassion for our queer family who choose to bravery and vulnerability in writing a letter.
Thank you, friends, for being here, showing up, and leaning into the process with Dorothy.
